@yogi_john . As Phoenix native, John cherishes the ability to teach and inspire the yogis in his hometown. Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda, inspired John to begin his yoga journey in 1995. His stepfather, Dave Oliver, practiced Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for years and was a well-known and established teacher. John credits Dave for mentoring him and making him the teacher he is today. John has completed both his 200-hour and 500-hour Yoga Alliance certifications. He also completed teacher training programs under master Ashtanga teachers, Tim Miller and David Swenson. He continually attends workshops with the best yogis to expand his knowledge of yoga and evolve as a teacher.
John teaches with undeniable technique, he uses clear language and warm laughter to help his students reach their full potential. He has helped open several yoga studios, led numerous teacher training programs and he shares his passion for yoga by teaching workshops throughout the country. He uses inspiring and dynamic cueing when instructing students to focus on deepening their physical attention and remaining rooted to their breath.
John is the proud owner of two mini pigs, three dogs, a cat, four tortoises and a fished named, No. When John isn’t teaching he enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and his son, Ryder.
Alex approaches teaching with a fresh and innovative perspective while infusing his classes with traditional yogic education. Music brings us together, and yoga unites our community. This inspiring combination uplifts our spirits, fuels personal growth and elevates the mind.
Alex’s modern approach explains the ancient system and allows students to let go of the ego and confidently find roots and rise up in their practice. Alex leads a comprehensive, challenging class that leaves his students feeling strong, stretched and centered. Because of his extensive background in both yoga and personal training, Alex’s classes are infused with crucial knowledge that allows his students to learn and grow with each pose.
Alex completed a 500-hour certification with The Authentic Yoga School and a 200-hour certification with At One Yoga in Arizona. He is also a personal trainer certified by The American Council on Exercise (ACE).

He loves reading about different traditions, religions and spiritual practices. Additionally, he dedicates time studying to deepen his understanding of the energetic and anatomical body. His personal spiritual practice is an ever expanding understanding of himself and his place in this amazing universe.

Anton received his BS degree in anatomy and physiology from Arizona State University. He also earned a Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and completed his 200-hour yoga certification through At One Yoga. Peace, Love and Kindness.
@desireeyoga . Desiree began practicing yoga in 2000. Her passion for the practice led her to At One Yoga teacher training in 2006. When teaching, she creates a safe environment and gives students the freedom to discover depth. Her thoughtful and intuitive instruction, fueled by love, allows students to push beyond their usual edge in fun and exciting new ways.
In addition to teaching yoga, Desiree is a practicing licensed massage therapist, specializing in Ashiatsu and Thai massage. She also holds a BS degree in family studies and child development. Her favorite roles are wife to her wonderful husband, Todd, and mom to her baby girl, Kaiya.
Isabelle began studying yoga over 30 years ago and completed her 200-hour teacher training program in 2002. After attending a Yin workshop lead by Paul Grilley, Isabelle fell in love with the deepening aspect Yin yoga. Shortly thereafter, she immersed herself in learning the meridians, the energy body and the Chinese Five Element Theory. She recently gradated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC. Isabelle continuously studies meditation, anatomy, nutrition, physiology, the energy body and Eastern philosophy.
Isabelle creates a nurturing environment where students can discover their unique abilities and then apply that yogic knowledge in other areas of life. Her passion for yoga reflects throughout her classes and workshops. She believes a supportive, peaceful, loving, fun and energizing environment cultivates the most self-evolved yogi.
Isabelle enjoys spending her free time hiking, painting, attending concerts and going to movies with her friends, daughter Kendra, and her twin grandsons, Jack and Justin.
@dennis.abry.yoga . Dennis studied various styles of martial arts for two decades prior to taking his first yoga class at age 40. He primarily practices the Ashtanga Primary Series, but he also practices modern vinyasa. He completed David Swenson’s Ashtanga Primary Series teacher training and also earned his 200-hour yoga certification with John Salisbury.
Dennis respects the philosophical foundation of Patañjali’s Yoga Sutras, but views human consciousness from a modern science perspective. He has taught psychology for 15 years and currently holds a residential faculty position at Scottsdale Community College. He earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Florida State University, a M.A. in education from the University of Illinois and is currently pursuing an M.A. in humanities (philosophy) at CSU-Dominguez Hills.
@abbiechap . Abbie left her career as a corporate IT consultant to pursue a new role as a full-time mother. She discovered that practicing yoga helped her find clarity and balance in her demanding new role. Her first instructor, Debra Lynn Eden, inspired her to teach yoga. In 2008, Abbie earned her Anusara 200-hour teacher training certification with Martin and Jordan Kirk.
Abbie is a yoga geek, she loves studying therapeutics, alignment and different styles of yoga. She designs classes accessible for all levels that still challenge even the most advanced student. She emphasizes the importance of alignment, but allows students to find their own way.
She is an avid yogi, downhill skier, reader and traveler. Her favorite teachers are her three kids and she is grateful that her husband supports her through this yoga journey.
@donnysyoga . As a former Division I baseball player, Donny found yoga while searching for pain relief. He had eight knee operations during his playing career, and his mom, a dedicated yogi, continually encouraged him to join her for class. Finally, after much persuasion, he let go of pride and ego and tried his first class. He realized practicing yoga profoundly benefited not just the body, but also the mind and soul. Donny views yoga as one of biggest gifts in his life. He loves to share his passion and knowledge. He strives to teach a class that leaves you feeling inspired, aligned and present.
Donny has studied under Seane Corn, Rod Stryker, John Salisbury, Anton Mackey, Dave Oliver, Cheryl Oliver and Jenn Chiarelli. When he isn’t practicing or teaching, Donny enjoys spending quality time with family, friends and of course his dog, Roxy.
